DIFFERENT LIFE IN OUR WORLD CLOWNFISH
The Clownfish is an omnivorous fish. The Clownfish ranges in size from 4 to 7 inches in length and weighs up to 250 g, with the lifetime of 6 to 10 years.
Clownfish are a group of tropical reef fishes found in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, Red Sea and western Pacific Ocean. There are 30 recognized species of clownfish.Their most distinctive traits are their orange bodies, three white bands with a black outline and black tips around the fins. Clownfish survive in a mutually assistive symbiotic relationship with anemone. The anemone protect the clownfish from predators and provide food scraps. In return, the clownfish uses its bright colours to lure fish into the anemone, where they are killed by the anemone’s poison and eaten. The clownfish also fertilises the anemone with its faeces.
